As a therapist, I have worked in settings that include:

  • Substance Abuse treatment programs
  • County-sponsored programs for the under-represented
  • Spiritual Counseling Center

I have also acted as a consultant in specialty areas that include:

  • Consultant for Emergency Room and Triage services
  • Clinical Supervisor of post-doctoral psychology fellows
  • Coordinator for Group treatment and Behavioral Health Education Programs

As a psychological treatment and health education coordinator, I have designed, implemented, and/or led a multitude of programs to help those with anxiety and mood concerns such as:

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, social anxiety, worry, panic, and phobias
  • Mindfulness skills for mood management
  • Integrated therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Managing Stress and Anger
