I believe the most helpful psychotherapy includes a genuine human connection balanced with the artful science of research-proven psychology.  My approach to therapy has been described as  affirming, interactive, focused, and practical so that you make choices that are best for you in the long run and start feeling better as quickly as possible.

Most people seek psychotherapy from me to guide them through  personal growth, anxiety, depression, OCD, unhealthy habits, PTSD, and relationship issues. 

I have a particular interest in helping people integrate the seemingly contradictory parts of themselves in a non-judgmental way. That may include finding a helpful perspective on relationships, family, work, spirituality, sexuality, and cultural influences.

 I have learned that people have a natural ability to improve their quality of life and that therapists are there to help facilitate that process. 

For individuals living in California, appointments can be  done in-person, by phone, or secure video conferencing platform for your convenience.  Some concerns are better addressed via in-person appointments and I can discuss your appointment options further during your initial phone consultation.
